After viewing the adjusting stances of the Grostic/NUCCA
practitioners that have appeared recently on the
Internet and in
The Upper Cervical Subluxation
Complex, it seems appropriate that we review on
ONCAUSE the fundamental mechanics of the Grostic/NUCCA
adjusting positions.
The very clever concept of using
the human body as a well coordinated and precisely
aligned machine -– a machine, which, if aligned properly
and placed in the proper position, could deliver a
rectilinear force along a calculated vector -– was
devised by Dr. J. F. Grostic, Sr.
In our next entry, we will depict the correct
(according to J.F.G.) positioning of the adjustor's legs,
hip, spine and shoulders when positioned to deliver a Grostic/NUCCA adjustment.
We will show the correct doctor positioning for the
“settle-back” in the three anatomical planes in the
following order: 1) Coronal, 2) Sagittal, 3) Transverse.
