Figure 4. Figure #4 is analogous to figure #2. In both instances, the handle of the hammer (the supporting base of the force) is distorted. Result: Gross curvilinearity -- wasted excess force transmitted into the patient's neck and rebounded back into the adjustor's pectoral girdle, shoulders, neck etc.. -- inefficient and traumatic to the adjustor. |
